Oh hello! My name is Jessica, and I am a SAHM that loves to create. There is something special about handmade items, and I love, love, love making things for friends and loved ones.
I started making these birds nests because I was looking for something to make for Mother's day for my mom and mom in law. They absolutely loved these nests, and I enjoyed making them so much I just knew I couldn't stop. I also loved the sentiment and meaning behind the nests- how it symbolizes a mother's love for her young!
I spend time moulding the pieces, weaving every piece and bend, and moulding the nest into a round shape when it's all woven! It really is a process that I have learnt how to perfect. I've done so many that my hands get into a lovely rhythm when I make these nests! You get what you pay for- a beautiful piece of art that you can cherish and hold your loved ones in. I lovingly make these with you in mind! I don't simply glue the pieces together, or simply wind or roll it up: I pride myself on making something that is truly intricate and detailed... attention to detail is my motto when I make these nests! I love how each and every one turns out differently, just like nests do in nature!
